Hoy hemos tenido el honor de asistir a la Jornada de Formación de Delegados y Delegadas de Protección del Menor en el Deporte, organizada por la Fundación Rafa Nadal y la Fundación Deporte Joven. Nuestra presidenta, Taty Ferrer, participó activamente en este importante evento.
Durante la jornada, contamos con las increíbles reflexiones de José Ignacio, especialista en derechos de infancia, quien destacó la importancia del deporte no solo como herramienta para transformar el mundo, sino también como casa y refugio para tantos niños y niñas.
En la Asociación Deporte para la Igualdad, creemos firmemente que tenemos la obligación de hacer todo lo que esté en nuestro poder para proteger los derechos de los más desprotegidos. Este compromiso nos impulsa a seguir trabajando incansablemente para garantizar un entorno seguro y positivo para todos los niños y niñas que participan en nuestras actividades deportivas.
Como dijo Nelson Mandela: «El deporte tiene el poder de cambiar el mundo. Tiene el poder de inspirar, de unir a la gente como pocas otras cosas. Habla a los jóvenes en un idioma que entienden. El deporte puede crear esperanza donde antes solo había desesperación.»
